Paleontology

The explored surface of the cave is of 25000 m and lenght of 3000 m, with parts of different breadths.

These parts as those of all of the caves in Greece, belong to the quartenary period and consequently the faune too, belongs to the same period , dated at 2.000000 years ago.

Inside the cave there have also been found limestone bones that according to a rough examination, belong to todays animals.

The paleohtologic and prehistoric character of the findings may be proved by studies.
